This window screen is specifically designed for 1985-1991 Vanagon non-Westfalia (tin top) vans. Unlike our Rev 10 screen which fits pop-top camper vans, this version accommodates the different window frame design found on tin top models.
I’m currently working on a better mounting system. This screen will mount to the thin strip on the window gasket beetween the wglass and the metal. It is used for a cheap plastic/chrome trim. The trim will need to be removed (I use pliers). Some vans dont have anything installed here (after 87?). Some vans dont have it at all. Check if yours has it.
The first rev will use plastic screws directly into this slit. I am working on a system that will slide in and then provide a place to bolt to.
