Tin Top Window Screen — for 1985–1991 Vanagon tin top (non-Westfalia) vans
Designed specifically for the tin top window frame. Unlike our Rev 10 screen (which fits pop-top camper vans), this version is engineered for the different window design on tin top models.
Mounting: These mount directly to the window gasket. Your gasket must have the thin groove running along it — that groove is what the anchor installs into, so it is required for installation. On many vans that groove has an old, janky chrome trim cover pressed into it; if yours does, pull that out first (I use pliers) to expose the groove. Some vans (roughly after ’87) do not have the groove at all — check yours before ordering.
